Thanks to generous donations from La Casa Azul Bookstore and John Jay College(ULAMP), Safe Passage opened a library and free bookstore. The library and bookstore contain children’s books in both english and spanish, toys, and art supplies. The library also includes interactive toys and games with coloring supplies and activity books with topics ranging from Ants to Zoology. Librarians Juan Chiquillo (left) and Lee Koch (right) will ensure clients and their families have increased access to reading materials and will keep the library open Monday–Friday, 10AM – 5PM.
