Safe Passage's Musical Benefit: Children Crossing Borders a success!

Safe Passage, February 10, 2014

On Thursday, February 6, 2014, several student organizations sponsored a musical performance of songs and vignettes designed to highlight some of the struggles faced by children immigrating to the United States.  Led by director Joe Stackhouse, the cast sang songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Rag Time, Les Miserables, Rent, and The Wizard of Oz.  Safe Passage would like to thank Jeannette Glazier, Molly Mauck, Lucette Ow, Sarah Schmidt, and Joe Stackhouse for your wonderful performances.  And thanks to everyone involved in making this event a success, and for donating your time and the proceeds to Safe Passage’s efforts to help immigrant children currently facing difficult journeys to the United States.
