Congratulations to former Safe Passage Project client, Deivy Alvarez, who recently won a full academic scholarship and plans to be “the first person in my family to graduate from college”.  Deivy’s brother, Bryan, his mother, and step-father attended the awards presentation at Westchester Community College earlier this month. Deivy told Safe Passage, “I’m very proud of this achievement. I could not have done it without the help of Denise, Nina, Gui and my extended Safe Passage Family. I’m forever grateful.”
