New York Times notes that Safe Passage Project is Part of a Group Receiving Resources to Dedicate to Long Island Child Migrants

Long Island philanthropies and Community Based Organizations teamed up to provide some much needed funding to the many child migrants in Long Island facing deportation. The collaboration is investing approximately $500,000.

These funds will go to a wide array of groups.

“The groups involved include Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, the Central American Refugee Center, the Health and Welfare Council of Long Island, the New York Immigration Coalition, the Safe Passage Project and the Touro Law Center.”
