Luisa Lebron, Safe Passage Attorney, sits down with Katiria Soto, host of ‘En Tu Comunidad,’ to discuss the Safe Passage Project and our mission to help undocumented children in New York. Thanks to Univision and Ms. Soto, Luisa informed the public of the importance of having an attorney represent children in immigration court and the need for volunteers, who make our work possible.  Safe Passage estimates that 80 percent of the children it meets in court qualify for Immigration relief under current US law.

Luisa also  discussed “Field Day” at Riverdale High School and our annual “Holiday Party” at John Jay College, which is our way of allowing children to simply be children. Once again, a special thank you to Univision for inviting Safe Passage to speak on ‘En Tu Comunidad.”
