Safe Passage Letter to the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Senate Committee

On January 28, 2016, Safe Passage Project submitted a letter to the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Senate Committee to recommend that the government provide unaccompanied children with appointed counsel after they are released to sponsors.  One of the reasons is that it would provide additional protections that the released children will not become victims of abuse or trafficking.
