Training on Special Immigrant Juvenile Status in Queens County

On Thursday, September 15, 2016, Claire R. Thomas presented a training on “Representing Unaccompanied Minors: Special Immigrant Juvenile Status” to attorneys, judges, and other practitioners on Judge O’Connor’s courtroom at the New York City Civil Court, Queens County. This program was sponsored by the Queens County Women’s Bar Association, the Brandeis Association, the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County, New York Law School, and the Safe Passage Project. Marie-Eleana First, an attorney in private practice, joined Claire for the question and answer session after the training.
