Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, Safe Passage Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt for your donation that can be used for tax purposes.
How is my donation used?
Your donation directly supports our legal services for immigrant children. This includes covering costs for legal representation, social work support, translation services, and educational resources for the children we serve. Please note that Safe Passage Project does not share donor data with third parties.
Can I make my donation anonymously?
Yes.
If you're donating online, simply check the box on the donation form that says:
“I would like my donation to remain anonymous. I do not want Safe Passage Project to recognize my donation publicly, or to publish my name in its Annual Report.”
This ensures we will not include your name in any public donor listings or acknowledgments.
If you are donating by check, your name will appear for processing purposes—but you can include a note requesting anonymity, and we will honor that request.
