Congratulations to CUNY”s Unaccompanied Latin American Minor Project (“U-LAMP“) volunteer Myriam Santamaria who was selected as a CUNY Service Corps Student of the Month in February.

To Myriam, who comes from an Ecuadorian background, her work with Safe Passage Project is deeply personal. “I’m from a family of immigrants,” she says. “I have cousins who have gone through the same process [as these minors]. It’s humbled me.”
