Effective on Monday 12/7/15, the new EOIR 28 will go into effect.
This E-28 will be the only E-28 accepted by the Immigration Court.
This new EOIR 28 allows the attorney to represent merely for a custody
hearing and not a mertis hearing, represent for all hearings, or for
merits hearings and not custody hearings.
Safe Passage has been informed by that any E-28 dates prior to 12/7/15
will be rejected. Therefore, if you are in court next week, please be
aware of the date on the EOIR 28. The court has informed Safe Passage
that if it is dated prior to 12/7/15, the E-28 will be returned.
